Upcoming PTA Sponsored Events

I am very excited about two PTA sponsored events that will take place the next couple of weeks here at Liberty. We will have a Fall Festival on Friday, October 30. Festivities will begin at 5:00 pm on the playground. In addition to the games, food, and fun, every Liberty student will receive a free No Excuses University t-shirt! PTA has purchased shirts for every student, and this event's purpose is to promote collaboration amongst students, staff, and the community. All proceeds from this event will help support Sixth Grade Science Camp in May.

On November 2, we have a once in a lifetime opportunity to host Matsiko, an African Children's Choir. Matsiko is a group of twenty-five children from Uganda, Africa. They have been in the United States this past year traveling around the country singing and dancing in large venues, recently the Rose Bowl. It is an honor to be hosting this group on this day. Their purpose is to promote solutions to hunger in Africa. We will be having a coin drive to help support this cause.
